Professor Anthony Jorm

Professor Anthony (Tony) Jorm is a Professor Emeritus in the Centre for Mental Health, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, University of Melbourne. He is also Editor-in-Chief of Mental Health & Prevention, Associate Editor of the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Psychiatry, Chair of the Board of Mental Health First Aid International and Chair of the Scientific Advisory Committee of Prevention United.

His research interests are on what members of the public can to for prevention and early intervention with mental disorders. He is experienced in carrying out randomized controlled trials, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and Delphi expert consensus studies on interventions to build the public’s capacity for prevention and early intervention.
