Professor Kim Dalziel
Prof Kim Dalziel is the Health Economist for the Centre of Research Excellence in Childhood Adversity and Mental Health. She is Head of the Health Economics Group, Centre for Health Policy and leads a program of research in child health and economic evaluation alongside clinical trials. She has a Dame Kate Campbell fellowship in Research Excellence and an Investigator Award with the NHMRC. She has specialist expertise in economic evaluation and modelling, child health policy, vulnerability/equity and use of health services and economic evaluation alongside clinical trials. She actively supervises Masters of Public Health, clinical advanced trainee research projects and PhD students. A/Prof Dalziel has active collaborations with the Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI), the Royal Children's Hospital, The Women's Hospital and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. She was a previous recipient of a Harkness Fellowship in Health Policy and Practice (2017/18) and a Melbourne University McKenzie Fellowship (2013). Her formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Health Science (Hons), a Master of Health Economics and a PhD in Health Economics (awarded 2011).
